When you you take the LNAT in 2025?

Starting August 1, 2025, you can register and book LNAT tests for getting into college in September 2026. Tests begin on September 1, 2025.

You can take the test whenever there’s an open slot at the center you pick. Booking early gives you a better chance of getting your preferred date. There is usually a rush as the deadlines get closer.

It’s okay to take the LNAT before or after sending your UCAS application. (Check your university website for any specific details.)

  • Try to meet January deadlines if you’re not applying to Cambridge or Oxford.
  • Enter your UCAS Personal Identifier number on your LNAT profile before sending UCAS application.

  • You can only take LNAT once between September 1, 2025, and July 31, 2026. The second attempt will be void.
  • If you reapply later, take LNAT again in that year.
  • LNAT results can’t be used for the next academic year.
