When you you take the LNAT in 2025?

Starting August 1, 2025, you can register and book LNAT tests for getting into college in September 2026. Tests begin on September 1, 2025.

You can take the test whenever there’s an open slot at the center you pick. Booking early gives you a better chance of getting your preferred date. There is usually a rush as the deadlines get closer.

It’s okay to take the LNAT before or after sending your UCAS application. (Check your university website for any specific details.)

Remember these dates for 2025–2026 LNAT cycle to enter college in Autumn 2026. Keep checking with your preferred colleges for updates.

Don’t take the LNAT before the 2025 summer break, as it won’t count for 2025/2026.

Tips on dates for taking the LNAT in 2025

• Try to meet January deadlines if you’re not applying to Cambridge or Oxford.
• Enter your UCAS Personal Identifier number on your LNAT profile before sending UCAS application.
• Plan how to pay the test fee before booking. Use a major credit card, debit card, or LNAT e-voucher.
• You can only take LNAT once between September 1, 2025, and July 31, 2026. The second attempt will be void.
• If you reapply later, take LNAT again in that year.
• LNAT results can’t be used for the next academic year.
